Credit Education
At Wilshire Consumer Credit we are committed to a culture of responsible lending. This involves abiding by consumer protection laws and regulations making sure that all of our customers are fully informed about the important details of our loan products. When you speak to any of our professional loan officers, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about how our loans work. Additionally, here are some more resources and general information about credit scores that people often ask.
We encourage you to take the FREE Credit Scores and Reports course available through the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. It covers topics regarding credit scores and credit reports provided by consumer reporting agencies such as: the value of establishing a credit score; ways to establish a credit score; ways to improve a credit score; factors that impact a credit score; and ways to check one’s credit score.
